It’s time to rebuild trust.

OUR ROLE

The TrustTheVote® Project is our flagship fiscally-sponsored initiative, a membership-based effort and a first-ever digital public works project. 

The mission is to develop publicly owned election software technology (the “People’s Voting System) for any jurisdiction to adopt, adapt and deploy—technology that:

  • Improves voting system integrity, security and verifiability;

  • Lowers costs of election administration;

  • Innovates usability, ease, and convenience, and

  • Increases confidence in elections and their outcomes.

 

IMPORTANCE

This project’s success will mean transparency in new voting systems – and transparency builds trust.

IMPACT

The resulting public software called ElectOS™ will become the driving ingredient for the commercial sector (or government election administration agencies themselves) to prepare and deploy finished voting systems using off-the-shelf, modified commodity-hardware. 

Code causes change, and transparency builds trust.

An important outcome of this work is public election technology for voting systems that is more trustworthy than anything to date.
